- Tiger Woods experimented with a new putter and it lasted all of three tournament days. After switching to the Nike Method blade in hopes of attaining better control on the slow St. Andrews’ greens at the British Open, Woods didn’t get find the results he wanted. He needed 99 putts to get through the first three rounds of play and collected 10 three-putts in that span. On Sunday, Woods elected to go back with his Titleist Scotty Cameron Newport 2 putter which had been in his bag since 1999. Tiger has been favored in every tournament he’s entered this season and hasn’t won one.
Its too bad he isn't having the same luck with this putter as his other "putter"' which I am sure many of his female acquaintances will attest to. @)@)@)
